Is Masteries messed up? I know they're a permanent choice and right now we are able to forget them, but if we forget them we're only getting 1 slot back, versus the 4 or whatever we spent on learning them. Not sure if that makes sense, but it seems like something is messed up on them.
Can anyone else verify this?

Slots are recalculated on the fly. There is never any number stored on your character, or elsewhere for that matter. Once the mastery is forgotten it should be doing the math as though you never had it.
