Speaking about paying for blood. The sign for 5 gold entry has still been up for some time. Jaedren just forgot to take it down when he changed it to a no price entry savage pit.

The Arena Rules sign reads:
"The rules are, there ain't no rules except no spear-chuckin, no bow-twangin and most of all, NO FINGERWAGGLIN. Entry fee: 5 gold per bout."
Just needs the "Entry fee: 5 gold per bout." taken out.

I'm just referring to the Prime instance. Not sure why Jaedren didn't remove the entry fee from all other instances of DR, but I'm sure he had his reasons.

The pit fight changes took longer than I had hoped to get in place, but with them in we'll resume the Savage Fights actively and aim to wind them up in January.
Three fights or more in one day against different opponents will get bonus points.
Five fights or more in one day against different opponents will get even more bonus points.
You don't a GM or NPC watching to earn bonus points, but you will need to post in the Savage Fights folder to let me know to check.

In honor of these changes, I hereby announce the following planned fights in the Crossing Pit.
-Polearm Pow wow, 12/1/06 9pm est. Entry fee 1 plat kronar. Pikes/Halberds only.
-Slamfest 12/8/06, 9pm est. Entry fee 1 plat kronar. Shield slam, pommel pummels and feinting combat moves (feint, feint draw, feint sweep, feint slice etc) allowed.
-Barenaked brawling, 12/22/06 9pm est. Entry fee 1 plat Kronar. No armor, no weapons. Just sweaty muscles.
1st place in each bout gets 60% of the intake. 2nd place gets 30% and 3rd place gets 10%. Everyone else just gets bloody!
