A savagely warped javelin streaked with dried blood and burn marks is a heavy thrown and pike melee-ranged weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
very great (12/26) puncture damage
fair (5/26) slice damage
somewhat moderate (6/26) impact damage
You are certain that the javelin is soundly (8/13) balanced and is decently (6/13) suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the warped javelin is nearly impervious to damage (17/18), and is in pristine condition (98-100%).
The warped javelin is made with metal.
You are certain that the warped javelin weighs exactly 48 stones.
You are certain that the warped javelin is worth exactly 887879 lirums.
You sense a deep connection with the warped javelin, as if it will be with you always.
Roundtime: 8 seconds.

was that javelin taken to an alterer or did it come with that description?

Oh heh. The reason I was asking was the "dried blood". I tried to alter a weapon with dried blood and they said I wasn't allowed to.

That javelin... is it one handed? If so, I will be requiring one.
P.S. How much tyrium did you need to have that made?

Tyrium tends to out-perform its appraisal some because of the density cap.

Isn't the Kanton's spear 2 handed though? That means I wouldn't be able to throw it if I had, say, a mandolin in my left hand >.>

Oh~ Also, when I think of a "javelin" I think of the throwing weapon that Scorpion from Mortal Kombat uses to do his "Get over here!" special move.
It's more of a mentally pleasing thing to have a one-handed "javelin" than a two-handed spear. It just seems 10x cooler to me :D

I just so happen to have 5 volumes of tyrium. I think someone said Codiax forged that sweet javelin? How would I go about contacting Codiax to have one of the same created?

Yes, you are right about that. Go for it, then. Like I said, the tyrium spear is even better than Kanton anyway (though not sure about whether it's one-handed).
Oh and... if you have any tyrium left over, I'm in the market. :-p

Blah, just decided to stick with the Kanton spear. We won't need to use instruments for our songs with Magic 3.0 so I'll just suck it up and be patient. Also the kanton spear is(to my knowledge) more balanced than the tyrium heavy spear and is much lighter, which I <3

>>Also the kanton spear is(to my knowledge) more balanced than the tyrium heavy spear and is much lighter,
Yep, +1 balance and 18 stones lighter.
However I just looked up the difference between a "spear" and a "light spear/javelin" because I was curious about the handedness issue. I believe that the spear template is always two-handed and the javelin is one-handed. Thus the tyrium spear may not be the best comparison -- what you would really want is a tyrium javelin, which I don't have any data for (unless what ZBLIZZ posted was tyrium).
In any case, the javelin ZBLIZZ posted was equally balanced to the Kanton spear and 2 stones lighter with -1 puncture, -1 slice, +1 impact, -1 suitedness, +2 durability. So yeah, pretty beastly given that it's a one-hander.
