Perhaps magical scrolls could be eaten to regain IF. Would certainly give me a use for all the Vigil scrolls I keep finding.

No, what's stupid is we can't even read the title on a scroll spell. It all looks like gibberish no matter how skilled. For all I know I just found an incinerate scroll, nifty, or it could be something like fire shard volley.
