I really like Flameweaver/Fireweaver :) Not that I think we actually weave the flames... Pyre Builder is probably closer to what we actually do :)

And while Shavay will probably claim he has dubs on it... Stormsinger would be a good one as well for knowing Breath of Storms :) Maybe that already got mentioned though, and I just forgot.

I keep hearing people talk about this title, and I keep thinking about it to myself like its already a planned title... I suppose I'm just asking if it is... and if not, heres my suggestion!

Jack of All Trades
requires 100 in every skill excluding music theory, empathy, astrology, trading, scouting, backstabbing, I think that about covers the non-learnable ones. :)
at least 30 in all stats

Don't get mad at me if those are too high or too low! Thats just my idea for it, if ya don't like it, post other reqs!<g>

Heh...I know several friends that, every time they roll a character, tell themselves "I'm going to train every skill!", but soon after about 25, they give up...so I'd probably say that if it's a skill requiring ranks in EVERY skill, I'd say like 50 is a pretty safe number.

My view of a jack of all trades is not necessarily someone who is an expert (yeah, 100 is no where near an expert, but just my point-of-view) in what s/he knows, but has a generally well-rounded education on multiple subjects. Finding 50 ranks of escaping and animal lore and slings/staff sling/HX and the other little salt/pepper skills is enough to deter those that don't want to get 50 ranks in it, and good encouragement for those who want the title, IMO.

I totally agree, 50 is a very good spot. :) I had trouble deciding between 50 and 100, so I just went with the high-end, heh.

no, it's a dogma quote :(

Yet... Can't sing blades yet.. See Resonance and Harmony. When those come out we will be bladesingers in the truest sense of the word. Personally, I'd even say, once those enchantes are completed, we should claim the Bladesinger title for the bard's guild with one or both of those enchantes being a requirement (perhaps one of those with multiple requisites, one with more blade and only one enchante, one with less blade skill and both) Anyone can sing and fight, but only a bard can sing to enhance their fighting and I think that is the truest description of a Bladesinger...

Bladesinger
At least 200 in Highest Edged
At least 300 in Vocal Instrument

Its already a pretty tough req :) any non-Bard that pulls off 300 vocals deserves it.<g>

I disagree. I still think it should be bard only. The ability to coax a weapon into performing more efficiently in your hands than another's with a song... This is a bladesinger. They sing to the blade, and the blade responds. This is what Harmony and Resonance do... This is what the title describes, this is why I feel, and will always feel, that they should be linked.

I'd rather not be forced to choose an enchante just to get a title that I like. Especiely if I've already hit though sort of reqs already.

Personally, I like the title too. Unfortunately, I like the enchantes as well and think they epitomise the title, which now, no offense to those who wear it, I feel has rather generic reqs compared to what they could be when based on a song requirement. Sorry if it would make you choose an enchante just for the title, but seeing the enchantes and thinking about it, I feel like this title shouldn't have been included until those enchates were complete... Of course, I'm just one person, and the only opinion I can have is my own. Right or wrong. And for the record, I wasn't trying to make it easier to get, just trying to make it more meaningful (in my eyes anyway)

Perhaps Flameweaver could be a title with reqs similar to Bladesinger, and the Phoenix Pyre enchante?

Or we could make it "fair" to other guilds and say...

Must have Phoenix's Pyre, or a spell from the Fire Book, or Fist of Faenella, or (other spells with fire messaging).
Must have at least 100 [random number off the top of my head] in all instruments.
