Carefully reviewing and synthesizing the lesson, Linett imparts some of her Tactics skill to you.
Your heart continues to pound as Linett's infectious rage pulses through your veins.
With a slight tremor in her voice, Linett reprises the last few words of the chorus of her infectious tune, drawing out the final note of each phrase and letting it gradually fade.

So I don't seem to have any other spells on me, but I am making people feel rage by singing to make them smarter!
I don't seem to notice any rage'ish messages on my end, just other people in group.

Sounds like Rage is still acting funny :P
On Test, if you cast Rage and let it drop, it would still be messaging to people in your group even though it was not in effect on you.
Also, Rage supposedly gave a horribly massive defensive penalty to the caster. Not sure if that was fixed.

Has the Bard spells been restricted to only those of the Bard Guild now? I had learn Faenella's Grace from scroll and been using it since 3.0 started. Now today I cannot use it, I get this note about it:
You lack some of the sophisticated underpinnings of Emotion Control; you cannot construct this spell pattern.
Find it kinda odd, for a number of reason.. 1 the spell doesn't have prereqs. Second, its on scroll.

All current Bard cyclic spells have been made signature.

I hadn't even used RAGE but the other person in the room was getting spammed with this RAGE message:

I had been using BOTF, and everything was pulsing normally until we changed rooms - that's when it started. So I dropped all active spells. And he dropped all active spell. But it didn't stop - he was still getting that message. In fact it's still going as I type this and no one is casting anything.
Gonna need a bigger shovel.

That was happening to my group a couple days ago without using Rage. When I used Scream Defiance while grouped, it triggered this messaging. BUGged it IG.

This was a temporary fix for the other person but as soon as we regrouped, he began receiving the 'heart continues to pound' messaging again even without me using Scream Defiance again.

Still happening days and several log-ins later. Whenever someone joins my group, they get the rage spam messages. Haven't cast it in days. Am I going to have to waste a favor to get my character fixed?

I think it is kinda fun to rage everyone in the group with no effort. You dont even have to cast it, just put them in your group. Doesnt cost any mana and they look so alive! Gets the heart beating! I don't think it would fix it if you die, but you could ask Rezz =) It happens every time I put someone in my group, whether I have cast or not.

(Still happening many days and many log-ins later. Very hard to roll-play around it, too, especially when one is trying to be romantical.)
Question - Does Faenella's Grace now only work for the Bard? I was using it while listening to a class and didn't notice any effects. But when I started teaching I very much DID notice the effect. Has this been brought up? And are the area spells in general working the way we expect them too?
Hard to know what's been reported and what hasn't. Some bugs go here, some get bugged in game, some in the General Discussions folder. Perhaps a recap of what's been identified and what's being worked on would help. I hate to report stuff that's already been reported.

Yes, but it's a bug. Ricinus took a look and said that right now it's all messed up, and it doesn't look like a quick fix.

Abandoned Heart (and maybe others) are hitting everything in the room, when they're supposed to default to only hitting targets that are engaged with you.

Is it still doing that? I thought that was fixed? What cast method are you using?

Out of curiosity, do bard spells like abandoned heart when they are not bugged cause reckless endangerment type crimes? Still confused why if you cast a spell in a safe manner that you get charged for it. The explanation I received was "well its dangerous" but I feel by that logic every warrior mage setting himself on fire with mantle of flame should be considered a public threat.

I didn't have any issue with it while hunting today/yesterday with people being in my room while it was pulsing and I wasn't engaged to them. They weren't getting hit. Simply CAST.

If anyone wants to test this, I can arrange to log in a char and meet with you. Before DR 3, one of my barbs ran through an area where a bard was playing Abandoned Heart- and got tanked for all purposes of combat. Not a good idea when there's an invasion on! But I'm curious about the changes too.

This bug is becoming incredibly annoying, as it's getting spammy.
As a non-bard, when I join Seldaren now, I'm instantly spammed with 3-4 pulses of the "infectious rage" messaging, regardless of whether he has Rage up. Within about 5 seconds last night, I had 9 or 10 messages. It was so bad I refused to stay grouped unless we had to travel together.

Wilidore flagged me down earlier this morning and said Abandoned Heart was screaming at him, and asked me to stop.
I'm not sure if it has been fixed since, but Zadraes told me I could go back to using it for the time being :P

Yeah, it was a spirit attack problem - I fixed it this morning.
As for Rage - I really need to find time to beat the broken out of that spell. Maybe this weekend (And by weekend I mean "my weekend" which is more like Monday +/- a day.)
