Ok, I understand this isn't exactly a priority for anyone. But it should be a REALLY easy fix, like just turning something off.
This room, for some reason, is a no magic room which really sucks because it's my character's hang out spot. Why can't she even perceive the power, or sing a magic song? This is in the Muspar'i Bard's Guild. From the entrance off of Heketha Square, GO GUILD, then GO PORTAL, and then...
>go door
[Bards' Guild, Library]
Three large, curved tables surrounded by rows of benches form a near-circle in the center of the room, leaving just enough of an opening for a lecturer. Heavy oak shelves line the walls, sagging beneath the weight of books packed closely together in long lines broken here and there by a discarded stein or a forgotten quill. You also see a prominent walnut sign and a heavily banded door.
Obvious exits: none.
>pow
Something in the area is interfering with your ability to perceive power.
>sing balm
Something in the area interferes with your enchante.
>boo
You let out a resounding "Boo!"

I believe it's a library thing - regardless of location of the library - not specific to the bard guild library there.
