After a long hard discussion with Silvyfrost last night in the Crossing guild, several "bards?" decided that it was thier place to slander, ridicule, annoy, and holler insults after insult to Katralyn and myself. We were told everything to "shuddup leave silvy alone , go fetch us booze, ya wench" to several other junivinle idiotic ramblings. Our buisness was with Silvy and Silvy alone. Stickin your nose in it was unwise.

After a bit longer silvy announces for everyone to shut up or the thugs will come cut thier tounge out. Well, the silence lasted 1 min or so. How disapointing to hear idle threats from Her Royal Guild Mistress.

You little idiotic annoying brats that were in the guild should be ashamed of yourselves. Grow up and try harder at socializing, maybe go to a "how to make friends " class at your junior highschool. Or get some much needed therapy.

Expect violence from This Gypsy if your seen out and about town, Teamarie holds Hogs in a higher state of respect then the lot of you.

This surely saddens me.

It has been said that being a bard is more than being a member of the guild, and I believe it.

Secondly, there is, or should be, a fellowship between bards that goes beyond idealogical opinions or arguments.

Furthermore, as bards, we should be concerned with finding out and following the truth, not slavishly following either guildleaders or 'figures'. Isn't that what made us feared by the Dragon Priests? It wasn't our weapons or or magic, it was our devotion to following, and spreading, the truth. Was it this easy for them to divide the guilds back then? Was that why this guild needed a 'restoration'?

There are some of us that wish to find the truth, and wish bards to stick together in their fellowship. Seeing long time, respected bards ridiculed by other bards sickens me, and does nothing to advance the cause of this guild or of those doing the ridiculing.

Speaking as Derivan: Teamarie and Katralyn the next time you want to stage another attention craving yelling fest in a guildhall please do it somewhere other than the Crossings. I've had enough of your threatening empaths who are guests of the hall and younger Bards'.

Speaking OOC: Your lack of ability to role-play yourself out of a situation without thumping is just sad. You say we all need counciling, remember hun when you point a finger, three are pointing back at you. I'm enjoying role-playing a bard whos still on the fence about the guildleaders, if I had been banished for no reason maybe I would feel differently too. But Derivan isn't one to give up on his guildleaders so easily. Doesn't mean I won't continue to fight the thugs as I have throughout this conflict including last night.

Teamarie says, "I"m so pissed I died"

You say, "I died too it's ok."

Teamarie says, "but your derivan"

...later

Katralyn says, "Kaerna gettin' it now"

Teamarie says, "let em bash on kithria a while"

...later

You hear Katralyn's voice yelling from somewhere, "call the Bardic Tribunal and Remove him from authority"

You hear Katralyn's voice yelling from somewhere, "Reinstate the true-to-the-Guild Bards!"

...later

after Jaebom expressed how he thought Ezruh would most likely not be removed from power soon, which is as valid an opinion as calling for the removal of guildleaders from power...

Teamarie says, "jaebom is putting on a show"

Teamarie says, "for one"

Jaebom says, "am not"

Jaebom says, "i just sat down"

Teamarie says, "anymoment now he will applogize and begin to oink"

Jaebom says, "i'm sorry you were offenced, but i sure as hell won't be oinkin for anyone here"

later...

You hear Teamarie's voice yelling from somewhere, "I'm gonna shoot someone"

You hear Katralyn's voice yelling from somewhere, "who on this gods green elanthia do you people think you are?"

You belt out, "No wonder ye were banished, such threats of violence."

Your mind hears Teamarie thinking, "how much is the fine for killing in town?"

Your mind hears Teamarie thinking, "forgot I already got dressed by myself tonight, this aint worthy of it again."

Your mind hears Katralyn thinking, "Oh Gods of Elanthia, send a smite to the bard guild to take these lower beings from our presense"

...I apologize for not giving you both special treatment after you insulted my guildmates and guildleaders. Then again maybe I don't.

Interesting post from Derivan and his player. It is my belief that this "post" does not convey both sides of the issue correctly.

Put yourselves into this bard's shoes. What was not appropriately portrayed was that as a Bard who was censured and banished from the Guild by a Bard Guild Leader who did not have all the facts before he summarily "decided" certain bards were not worthy of hearing his words, compounded by the fact that it is natural bardic behaviour to ask questions first and to not blindly believe anyone.(ask silvy about guild sometime...), It is Katralyn's right to call for a bardic tribunal to request an investigation into Ezruh's abuse of authority and high-handed treatment. I think we have roleplayed our hurt and anger at being banished, quite well.

Since all the GL's are asleep at the wheel 95% of the time, We attempted several different methods to wake Silvy up. Yelling was the last resort.

It must have been pretty boring for you guys, cause the instant we showed up and were doing "our" thing, out hops Jaebom, then shortly after, Derivan. I guess you all decided to get involved in the action. What I did not expect that you'd come out to ridicule, insult and just issue one rude comment after another. How do you like being told you are ineffectual and stupid? And the ludicrous part is, we're yelling at a braindead guild leader... and you're gettin' your pants in a knot over it...

Shortly after you guys finally left us alone, again, pointing out that YOU decided to join OUR little gameplay... Aisyn shows up.

Now the insults and rude comments come slingin' out of the portal, from guests of the guild and other bards... "Hey ya wench get us some drinks"... and much worse.

You quoted 3 things...

>You hear Teamarie's voice yelling from somewhere, "I'm gonna shoot someone"<

>You hear Katralyn's voice yelling from somewhere, "who on this gods green elanthia do you people think you are?"<

>You belt out, "No wonder ye were banished, such threats of violence."<

Well... For those of you that weren't there, this smokescreen post does not even remotely describe the amount of insults that we all were subjected to. Rude behaviour from Nimeesha (A guest in the guild), Tashya (a bard who obviously has no clue about bardic camraderie), especially, but they are not the only ones.

The thump that Derivan accuses Tea of delivering that was not "role playing", frankly, I'm surprised he didn't end up being a pin-cushion. If I had my logs here where I am now, I would be able to more than adequately defend her actions.

I will admit, that we were not sitting idly by and taking this loathsome behaviour without getting in a few dings ourselves, but the vast majority of the bildgewater was spewing from people who "inhabit" the crossing guildhall. It must have been pretty bad for Silvy to issue this, and I paraphrase "If you guys don't ALL quit it, I'm going to let the thugs in to cut out your tongues". "All" meaning... if you sugar-sweet, lovin' babies were so clean and pure, I'm sure the big bad bardesses Katralyn and Teamarie would have been bodily thrown from the guild... put that in your pipe and smoke it. Consent by way of verbal abuse was issued by the majority of these younglings that should know better. Be happy you you only got thumped, you could have lost a favor for the ichor your mouth was spewing.

I have said in previous posts that I will not harm a bard unless they come looking to harm me first. However, I will no longer take your mouthing off in game either.

Katralyn

PS: A thump is no longer a non-role-play tool, in fact, it has been made a tool to use during role-play, as long as you don't use it overboard. I would have probably had my thump taken away last night if I would have thumped everyone of you that more than deserved it.

The thump you mentioned, was the very least you deserved.

Speaking as myself:
Yes, I will insult anyone who is supposedly 'fighting to be heard' when they tell me that my opinion is worthless because I don't power circle. Especially after you start throwing out insults to begin with. If you think just because you are higher circle you'll automatically earn my respect your sorely mistaken. I have more respect for a bard like Daerlynn than I ever will have for you Katralyn, no matter how many circles you gain or how many times you can thump me.

Speaking as Derivan:
If you don't like the guildleaders thats all fine and dandy, just take it up with them when they decided not to ignore you or insult them while I'm not around. Because believe it or not, some bards still have faith in our leaders and until they get a clear picture of what is going on, they aren't going to burn any bridges. As Silvy has said shes very good at ignoring people who deserve to be ignored.

>It is Katralyn's right to call for a bardic tribunal to request an investigation into Ezruh's abuse of authority and high-handed treatment.

Says who? Never read anything that states what a Bardic Tribunal is or who has a right to invoke one. Maybe if you could keep a level head and act your circle you could make an argument without death threats, but I doubt it.

>put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I don't smoke, nor do I own a pipe.

>The thump you mentioned, was the very least you deserved

Aye, I should have been killed for expressing my opinions...your totally right.
