What circles do we get enchante slots? I just hit 38th, but I haven't seen a slot since 34/35, so I'm just curious when I should expect my next one.

We get them at the same rate as primary magic guilds get spells. So 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 21st circles and every third circle thereafter. Remember to ask about magic... guildleaders don't spontaniously tell you that you can choose a new enchante.

At this point, you should get a slot at 39th. You would have gotten your last one at 36th.

Yeah, Bard GLs are buggy. If you don't have a spell slot open, they won't tell you about ANY spells. They also forget to tell you when you've learned a new spell.

I'd rather have new abilities than the ability to see what spells I can't learn right now.

Did you get the slot, however? While it's annoying, if the guildleaders are just forgetting to tell you that you got a slot when they give it to you that's less of an issue than them not giving you the slot at all. :)

You can always ask them about magic after you circle to see if they'll teach you something new until someone gets time to poke them and remind them that they should tell you upfront when you qualify.
