by hooded figures plenty.
they looked, then shook,
it left our stomachs empty.

Our guild leaders conspired
using us as messengers.
The ship captains called us by name
'cause we were frequent passengers.

Some bards whispered
this could be ill-fortune.

Then came fighting
figures, guildleaders, and bards
even if we all disagree
is talking it over that hard?

Through the fighting some knowledge was gained
older stories from dragon priest days.
The figures were followers of legacy,
Then a new group stepped through the haze.

ruffians and cutpurse.
Bard and figures were slain by dozens
but that is not a first

Something they all sought,
but was hidden from our view.
After a route in Shard
we finally got a clue.

and found those who had fallen.
They freed the last from the cellar
