Based on the visions received, we have decided to hold informal devotional ceremonies in Xings each evening at 10 PM EST starting Sunday, Oct 5. We will meet in the Cleric Guilds Gathering Hall (the place you get raised). After a gathering of participants they can move to a quieter area of the group's choice.
These events may be led by anyone who feels inclined and do not need to follow a set routine. There is no need for a complicated ritual, unless those attending wish it. Any cleric or inclined soul is welcome to take up the mantle of leading the ceremony, although the more outspoken of the Visions will make a point to be there. If you wish to attend, please feel free to come with offerings, praise, prayer, song, chant, sacrifices, words, thoughts or anything else you may wish to share. Or if you simply wish to have your presence to make a show of faith, thats is fine. This is also a good time to share any update on the astral events impacting the Lands.
Please understand the point of these gatherings are to make a showing of faith to the Immortals, not as an open forum to debate the logic of this tactic or gather new converts. Nor is it an "official" gathering and no others can be held. If you feel inclined to worship by yourself or with others at any time, please do so. In these times, every prayer counts.

although i would like to participate, i can't for most of those nights because i have to work in RL at those hours. However, when I can i will, albeit with the understanding that there will be others there with the skill to put down any stray undead that may decide to invade... as I am in the process of my MF quest so having me around is like having a mini-invasion of sorts. <wince>

Cael will try to be there but she's already promised her time to the Flying Company earlier and I'm not sure how long it will take her to get to Crossing.
I really recommend some other meeting place than the gathering hall though. Perhaps the chapel next door? Less people will be wandering in and out and people can decide from there where we should go/what to do.

Per Caelane's suggestion, we will move the meeting place one west of the Raise Room (one west of the Gathering Hall, Clerics Guild) in Xings. Once people have gathered you can move out to the temple, altar or place of choice.
I want to really stress I am not taking charge of these. I will be there to attend as much as I'm able (work may make me a bit late or miss some evenings), others who have been involved with the Visions and keeping up on these events, Clerics and others have also agreed to show up as much as they are able. If you would like to take charge of one of these evenings, please just post a note saying so in the Clerical Events & Xings Events Folders.
Barring Caelane's schedule not allowing, she will be running the event on Tuesday, Oct 7 to give some attention to Huldah.
Just keep some flexibility as if one of the constellations starts fading more than others, it may be really important to give extra attention to that diety. And there may be others who want to offer their thoughts, prayers, songs, poetry, or other performances to honor the Immortals.
There is a lot going on. By offering gatherings each evening, it allows everyone a chance to mingle if they would like to get involved. That is the main goal of these. This is one of those times where you don't have to have secret knowledge or know an obscure ritual to make offerings, prayers or praise. Its something everyone can do.
