A cleric suggested I post this here since it has to do with Tallis and Denizelva.

You focus inwardly searching for insight into your future.
Tendrils of redolent smoke fill your nostrils and eyes, soon resolving into the plaster walls of an immaculate chamber where two are having a discussion in stern voices. Both women appear ancient and have very long, pearly hair, but the similarities end there. The Rakash's robe and wrinkled skin are ebon as the night, while the other's paleness is alit with the vim of Elvenkind, clad in white.

"You understand," the Rakash woman says, "what must be done. They have crept into your cities right under the watchful eyes of you all. This will be much tamer than my alternative, I assure you."

Suddenly, the Rakash is gone. This time, a group of dark-robed figures approach the Elven woman and whisper entreatingly, "The Gor'Tog, Mother... The Gor'Tog is perfect..." She stares ahead calmly, forming a decision.

I believe this has to do with something that happened a while back, regarding a minion of Asketi rising up. Many of us helped in it's defeat and were given gifts by the Dwarf Verese in the name of her father Valtusk. Here is the note that was with the pendulum.

A thin parchment note delicately embossed with a black raven in flight reads:

>>My Dear Friend,

>>The crystalline sphere has been placed in safekeeping with High Priestess Denizelva, with hope the dark powers within shall never be unleashed again.

>>Until such time when we meet again, I will share my life with my Father, trying to stave the day till he must return to his life of servitude. My sincere gratitude for the aid you so freely gave.

>>For now...Asketi sleeps.

It is signed in flowing script: "Verese Hrr'thvaar"

A pendulum given to me, and other pieces were given to various people...they all contained a crystal that appears as such...Trapped inside the icy blue of this pristine sphere is the malignant shape of a black stone. Embedded for all time, its gloomy form is distorted by the gleam of the crystal that imprisons it.

I believe the Gor'tog of mention is Karjon, who's wife Greta was killed by the undead in Tiger Clan.
