A TM Spell that cleanses altars?

Sorry, but I'm not following. Why would one want a spell like this when one can nab some water and clean an altar? Why would it be a TM spell?

Yes, exactly what the guild needs, more useless crap.

A commune that greatly increases the time before an altar goes dusty would be more practical, and honestly less confusing. I can't figure out what TM would have to do with casting a beneficial effect on a large immobile object since the whole point of targeting something is its ability to dodge a harmful effect.

I think everyone's sarcasm sensors are off tonight. That's how I read it anyway. Like anyone would seriously propose that?

FWIW I giggled.

Some of the suggestions I've seen over the years make that look like a genius calibre essay, including the typos.

But perhaps I'm sensitive; my 'developmental DR time' was when clerics were regarded by GMs as happy little corpse-helper bots.

Given the complete lack of context, I don't think anyone could blame them. However, I don't think it was sarcasm.

I can see something like that as a cantrip.

I really hope everyone's input on FOU continuing to hit nothing but legs after the DFA aspect is removed was sarcasm, for magic 3.0.

No, not originally. I was one of the people asking for it, but after the other changes were explained to me, I realized that my main concern- FOU not killing quite as fast- was not going to be relevant. So I withdrew my request to have it continue to hit the legs only.

Clerics are just so cuddly you can't get mad at them, until they try to rip your soul out and chew on it like a candy bar.
