If you have an issue with a particular GM who you felt was biased, then by all means follow up on it. Write to Feedback with the facts and your suspicions. And please don't counter this with "But Feedback doesn't DO anything!" -- Because Feedback DOES follow up on each and every complaint it gets.

Now, that said, I'm going to take this a step further. GMs make decisions on the facts that have been presented. We analyze where policy was broken and proceed accordingly -- and when the decision goes against the grain of a player, some will immediately chalk it up to GM bias, instead of admitting that perhaps they actually did do something wrong. (Seems to be human nature that we all think we are infallible.)

As an example: We have Player A who has an incident with Player B. A GM is called in to arbitrate and the judgement goes against Player A. Player A is firmly convinced he/she was justified in their actions, so immediately he/she cries "foul" and proceeds to tell all of their friends, neighbors, relatives, and anyone who will listen how they were "wronged" and that all GMs are biased...and the issue snowballs and the rumors spread and everything is pretty much blown out of proportion.

Am I saying that GMs never make mistakes? Not hardly! But that is why there is Feedback, and which is why if you sincerely feel you have been wronged, you write to them.

I am not pointing at any particular player here. Comments in this folder are not the first time I've heard players speak of GM bias. This is just the first time I've publicly said anything about it.

Tishra goes beyond judgements...I've spoke with her about it...she can't learn as fast as everyone else, she'll do the same thing as someone exactly the same as her, mentals, skill, race, everything, and learn less.. the gms are too preoccupied to worry about it though... which kind of angers me even though it isn't my problem.. as a service, the number one priority should be players (starting with players that have played forever) and its not like there are far too many customers to worry about... what 500 in game at a time? I don't know that Tish is bugged, but I know that the proper steps were never taken to research it, which kinda bugs me. Yes people have problems with eachother in game, but thats what makes it fun, thats what role playing is. I don't feel someone should be less able to do the same things as everyone else, when they are equally as skilled. Tish I understand you're leaving, and am proud you stuck it out this long, I don't know that I could've under the circumstances.
