After two years, the least I can do is post instead of just flitting away like The Shadow (who is in reality Lamont Cranston, wealthy young man about town).

I'm sure one or another of you has noticed that I've been conspicuously away. This is partially due to what was originally going to be a temporary leave of absence, but also because you've turned into such good little boys and girls. It swells the festering cyst in my chest with an emotion that has been cross-referenced and ultimately defined as:

1) a state of well-being and contentment
2) FELICITY

I must admit that it is beyond the capabilities of even my intellect to understand how a canned WB women's drama starring Keri Russel is an emotion to anybody who doesn't also have a penchant for Oprah. I guess that's why I'm the guy who jabs dictionary writers in the ear with a pointy stick and not the other way around. But then they cry, so I dock their pay to get them to stop. And they laugh, and I laugh, and everybody in the office laughs and laughs. But they're laughing on company time, so I dock all of their pay.

Skipping ahead. I'm contractually obligated to request that you be kind to the next Monitor who picks up this folder. Please do, but not enough to make them complacent. Fraternity-style forum initiation rituals? Someone get their best men on that ten seconds ago, as long as it can't be retroactively applied to me.
