ReplyOkay...this is really confusing. I look in my vial, and it's empty. ("There is nothing in there.")
I have water in my sheath, (In the leather sheath you see some water and an ivory-hilted jambiya.) but when I try to fill the vial (fill my vial with water in my sheath) I get this message:
"There is no more room in the silver vial for some water."
If I (fill vial) I get the message: "You can't fill a silver vial with that!"
What am I doing wrong? I thought I read somewhere it was possible to fill a vial from a container or am I wrong about that?
Any help would be appreciated.

I think vials only hold so much volume, something like 2 parts. It's possible the water in your container is bigger than that and it's not breaking it up. Try using POUR instead.

Heh. I think I broke the vat in the Crossing Cleric Guild. Before I read your post, I got the bright idea to pour the water from my sheath into the vat. Which I did. I'm still getting the error message however, when trying to fill my vial from the vat. Would be curious to know if anyone else can now get water from the vat.

That usually works for one part, but then the parser can sometimes get confused after that (because it thinks you're trying to fill the vial with the water already in the vial at that point).
I'm not sure what's up with that vial. Vials are so small that I never use them. I fill up a chalice in bulk using "fill my chalice with water in trough" at Town Green Northeast.
