I have heard mention several times this week that AE is going to be "nerfed" because it is too powerful. I actually understand why given that it makes our other TM spells like horn and ff look like pea-shooters. I just wanted to make a suggestion as far as how I think it "should" feel.

There was a time when If I cast AE my spirit would take a huge hit. Even with Auspice up this would prevent me from rapid fire casting AE more than a 2 or (maybe 3) times unless I used CHS to drain the targets spirit. It felt powerful but dangerous. Now it sort of feels like horn with some real hitting power. I would like it if the feeling like I was risking a spirit death using the spell could be restored when the new version is implemented.

The thing I like most about AE is the DoT aspect of it. I'd like to see TM types extended.

I remember several years ago I tanked my devotion with AE by killing someone, they immediately departed and the bolts followed them to the altar in Crossing and killed them again. Wasn't good for my soul. I haven't used it in awhile but if it's still acting like that it probably is a little OP to be honest.

Don't think it follows after a depart anymore(would have to be a really quick depart as even the high end casters getting max bolts the spell only lasts ~ 5 seconds) Pretty sure there is no devotion hit anymore either(or none big enough for me to have noticed).
