I just realized I can now put Bless in OM. What does that do? It doesn't seem to affect my weapons, just my body.
Also I read on Elanthipedia that a capped Bless is 400 strikes. What is this based on? Utility? With 1406 Holy Magic and 1098 Utility I got 249 strikes with a capped Bless.

I believe it enables blessed brawling (i.e. punching ghosts); if I remember correctly it's a duration effect rather than a strike based one.

That's 62.5% to the cap, with your combined skills of 2504 being about 71% of the way to the cap if we straight add. But generally speaking we know those 1000 ranks of utility are weighted much more heavily in the bless formula than those 1400 ranks of PM, so if I just do a straight up 1098/1750, I get 62.7%.
So I'd guess it's almost entirely based on utility, once you can cap the spell mana-wise.

That's not how the spell calculates number of strikes. It's entirely based on potency of the spell, so in this case something else is going on that isn't being detailed since the spell can be capped at much lower skills.

You can do that by casting without specifying a weapon. I guess duration effect makes sense. Wish it would apply to whatever weapon you're holding too, or allow you to gesture and rebless a weapon or something. Ah well.

Anything I can do to help determine if this is a bug?
