Totally unable to come up with a name for it, but its simple enough. A targetted spell that is placed in the OM orb and operates semi independently of the cleric. Once in the orb, the cleric can program the orb to cast at say "first warrier" and it would always cast at the first warrier on a pulse until either there was no more warriers or the OM orb was depleted. Alternately it could be targetted at the third warrier and if there was no third warrier it would stop casting.
Fitting for an orb spell, the twist to this one would be if the cleric is stunned, the orb casts at the person/creature that caused the clerics stun.

Sounds like Starlight sphere or ball lightning. I haven't really heard either guild say anything other than 'this spell is mediocre'.
Both other magic prime get a 'cast and forget' spell, that does not kill them (AE anyone?). It might have some lag between cast and effect (AE again?), but you can cast it and create some entity which will damage foes for you.
Clerics, as a magic prime guild, lack this. We should not have to use OM for it. Neither guild has to use multiple spells or abilities for the same effect.
Unless OM confers some unique, beneficial, effect, bugger off with it. If I could cast the spell and get the same effect as MM or WM, or I could put it in the orb, infuse mana, and get a better effect, it's a good idea.
Requiring me to use OM to use the spell, at all, is a terrible idea, and bellittles the fact that clerics, despite all odds, are also magic primary.

Well, yes. What were you expecting? Something creative in a game about death?
