ROFLMAO. Ok....my Character is being IC when asking to leave her alone. So....if you are assuming my character is being IC and my character is asking you to leave her alone why would I need to tell you OOCly that my character is ICly asking you to leave her alone? I swear, you're like a walking contradiction!

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of difference between roleplaying a bully and being a bully, I've found. Admittedly, having an "accent" helps a bit with Drongol, but I still get sends asking "Why did you thump/kill/maim/etc. IdiotDude?" Usually, a little report "Because I warned him eighty seven times that if he didn't shut his mouth, I'd shut it for him" handles that situation, but it's tricksy at best.
Yes, it's a pity that you have to let someone know you're just RPing, but honestly, I've seen that come up even during tabletop games, particularly games like White Wolf's lines in which inter-party conflicts come up regularly. There's always that little "what if this guy's just being a jerkhole" going through everyone's mind.

Type quickly? I don't know--I rarely have to explain it to more than two or three people at most.

Intentional box-blowing is mech abuse? Hrm. I mean, I guess I agree that it's not very nice, but gas traps are kind of intended to go off and poison a roomful of people, so aren't we just helping the trap fulfill its destiny?

Anyway, I'd love to have more options that are either offensive or defensive. I've always thought that it would be fun to be able to either "induce" Empathy (or break the barriers non-Empaths have set up blocking their Empathy) in someone else so they experience a mild "shock" if they try to attack us.
Perhaps a Manipulate? Manipulate Empathy <PC target>?

Would be nice, but I'm not sure anyone really knows how to turn off Empathy (and vice versa) without short-circuiting ourselves.
