I think they are, Pure. I've seen that in heavy triage when my head was beat up good, and that's what I took it for.

yeah, I'll second the failed passive perceptions. I've usually had head injuries or nerve damage when I've sensed mine

That's odd. Whenever I have passive perceptions (3 times total in the course of my 2+ year as Clemency, twice in the same night and not again until I rerolled the first time), I would actually sense things, and it would be while I was clean.

One of those three auto-sensed and fried my head/nerves.

One actually alerted me to somebody in the room next to me that was dying.

I really wish we could track down what causes this, it would be really useful...

It might be a bit safer if a young raccoon was dead first.

we did a lot... and by a lot I mean I killed Nonomis something like 10 times one night and the world thought he was walking... to try and pin down what caused the passive perception. The only things we've been able to come up with is that it's on a roll to actually do it, the percentage is so low it's useless, you have to have perceived health in the relatively recent past, and the person that's dying has to be really close to death (probably within 10%) and stay there long enough for the ability to pulse.

If you could control your world and spent a lot of time perceiving health and be around constantly near death people that are somehow stable, you might see this more often, but the variables are too hard to replicate to do any solid testing. As it stands, my theory is that it actually happens to people a lot, but if there's nothing to sense, you see nothing.

We petitioned to bypass the PAFO rule and got denied, we also petitioned to increase the occurance and got told it was an easter egg add on, not a system, so we wouldn't see any development there.

So sorry Clem... you have all the player information in the world on this to my knowledge

Aw. Sad day. Well, when it does work I've found it helpful more often than not (except when it works and just randomly fries my head/nerves).
