What stats affect whether or not the empath casting Nissa's binding will fall asleep when he/she casts?
How much of said stats does it take to not fall asleep?

How much mana you put into the spell, so Primary Magic skill. If you're falling asleep, cast higher.

Most people start staying awake when they are first able to cast NB at 25, which becomes possible somewhere around 250 PM if I remember right. As your skill increases, however, you can stay awake with smaller casts.
