Presently I am running around using a flat black scimitar, and a darkly tinted oben for parrying... are there any other lighter weapons out there I should try and pick up?

Being a little empath and all, trying to keep my burden lower since I wear so much darn armor, heh. Any suggestions?

All you've told us is that you have a dyed weapon. What are the weight/stats? If it's store bought then yes, you can do a heck of a lot better. You'll want a weapon that is as well balanced as possible. I have a few friends who forge so I generally ask me to make me a weapon as light as possible (depending on which I want to train) and request that they grind it for balance. My favorite is a sabre that Ternith made for me, it cuts like a butter knife but gives me no issues while parrying.

You are Shrimpstar, a Prydaen Bard.
You have pointed ears and cat-slitted clear colored eyes. Your amber mane is short and thick, and is worn tousled. You have grey fur and a slender tail.
You look tired.

You are wearing nothing special.

As far as I know they are store bought. I can't remember.

The oben, LE is 18 stones, the scimitar ME is 31

If you're just using a parry weapon (as I hope you are) check the equipment catalog, and just find the best balance weapon in the category you want. Since you won't be attacking, no other stat matters. Balance is the only parry effecting stat. If it does -1 damage but has +infinity balance, that's what you'll want.

I'd also recommend picking up a few more than LE/ME, if you're going to bother with it, just for the heck of it. Tack on shield, multi armors, etc. to maximize TDP's.

What is the equipment catalog?

I am also learning Shield, Leather, Light Chain, Heavy Plate, Cloth and Bone armor... I should try and pick up some HC and LP I suppose... but that's a lot of different armors to fit on my body, heh.

I've only added store bought items for the most part. I'm not sure adding forged weapons will be worth the time/effort as there are so many variations.

Doryaa has a forged short sword from Poshly that she uses to parry- a beautifully balanced piece. If you have the plat to spare, a smith could help you there.

I have barely 2 plat, so I doubt I can afford anything forged, but I will look around for some lighter weapons using that list, thanks.

Can anyone suggest something for me to wear so I can have all armor types on?

I am currently wearing...

You are wearing a bleached ram's skull helm, some matte black woven reed greaves, some mail gloves and a white padded cloth robe with scattered brown spots.

So I need to add HC and LP... any ideas?
