I learned to type from DR, 'nuff said.
Here's a fun little test to see how fast you can type the entire alphabet:

I got 2.203 as my fastest time, with an average of about 2.4 over ten consecutive trials.

Yeah uhhh... Typing words is a heck of a lot easier than typing the alphabet. I can do all the way up to T with almost no pause whatsoever, but then for whatever reason my fingers seem to be trained for RSTLNE. Maybe too much Wheel of Fortune?
I haven't yet scored below a 6.8, and I type at about 110 wpm.

4.235 was my lowest, with my average at about 5.3. If you do it repeatedly a few times in a row you get into a grove and its easier.
Also, keep in mind you can hit SPACE anytime if you screw up to start over. :-)

While I'm not going to take whatever test that was. I can say that I have definitely increased my typing speed since I started playing. 5.5 years ago I started with -maybe- 40 wpm, now I got clocked (in an official test) at 86 wpm. Yay for DR.
