Heyo!

A few long-standing bugs and typos in the HW, HS, and Heal spells have been fixed. As a result, the preview period for Heal Wounds, Heal Scars, and Heal will be ending in approximately 25 minutes from the time of this post.

If you wish to keep Heal and do not have it learned already, you will need to visit a guildleader. If you have any of the four basic spells -- EWH, IWH, ESH, ISH -- but do not have HW or HS, please continue reading!


Now for the important stuff!


EWH, ESH, IWH, and ISH will no longer be available. The next time you cast any of these spells, it will do one of the following things:

(1) If you already know HW, then casting EWH or IWH will refund those spell slots.

(2) If you do not know HW, then casting EWH or IWH will transfer knowledge of the spell you cast to HW instead.

(3) If you already know HS, then casting ESH or ISH will refund those spell slots.

(4) If you do not know HS, then casting ESH or iSH will transfer knowledge of the spell you cast to HS instead.


Please note that if you have all four of these spells (EWH, IWH, ESH, ISH) you will need to cast all four individually in order to convert or refund spell slots as appropriate. You will need to successfully cast the spell, but you do not actually need to heal a wound; just a successful cast at min prep will do.


Just to clarify, let's assume you do not have HW. If you cast EWH, it will remove EWH from your spellbook and replace it with HW. No spell slots will be gained since the spell was transferred. If you then cast IWH, you will be refunded that spell slot since you already know HW at this point. If, on the other hand, you already knew HW from the beginning, then you will be refunded both spell slots. I hope that makes sense.
