I wasn't quite sure where to put this...this is the closest thing I could think of for general health system issues. It turns out people's LOOK goes wonky if they're healed up while in the dying state. I had also woken him up with AWAKEN, which may or may not be relevant. The line about their health turns into this for both LOOK <person> and LOOK <person> WOUNDS:

It went back to normal once the dying state cleared itself. I've also BUGged this.
