Hello Empaths,

I realized a while ago that while the new removal mechanics were released with 3.1, they were never formally announced, so here you go.

Empaths Under Circle 20 Can Remove:
Visibly necro-y necromancers and people with high social outrage.
Empaths Between Circles 20 and 50 Can Remove:
The above, as well as non-Empaths if at least two Empaths request the person's removal.
Empaths Between Circles 50 and 100 Can Remove:
Non-Empaths.
Empaths Circle 100 and Above Can Remove
The above, as well as Empaths under circle 100.

Empaths circle 100+ cannot be removed from the guild unless they have high social outrage.

Empaths are removed for a much shorter time than non-Empaths. Necromancers/high social outrage people are removed for the longest time. Going back into the guildhall after being removed will add to your ban time.

To remove someone from the guildhall, go into the sitting room and ASK CONSTANZE FOR REMOVAL PERSON

People who abuse this ability will have the ability removed, so be nice to each other.

So would folks using scripts to kick on site be considered mech abuse? How about using the mechanic during a consented fight? It's definitely being heavily abused.

In general, use of guild removal mechanics is a no-GM situation, as we intended to allow Empaths to police their own guild (and that includes the removal of characters they deem to be disruptive). There are exceptions for mechanics abuse or harassment.

As you may know, we don't discuss policy hypotheticals on the forum. If someone is suspected of abusing the removal mechanics, the character being removed needs to assist at the time that it is happening in order for a GM to review the situation.
