My son is a pearl harbor baby (10 this year! whew!) so we don't decorate until after his birthday party.
this year, since we'll be out of town for two weeks surrounding Christmas, we decided, Why bother to decorate or have a tree?
but, you know what?
I miss that tree!

Welcome back Reexa! on 12/20/2004 05:42 PM CST
I see you posting, so I'm guessing you're back...have fun? Where'd ya go?? Oh, and we have our own Christmas tree story now, our first Christmas tree as a married couple...put it up by about 2am, and at 4am, we hear this loud CRASH...tree fell over ::sighs:: and I was too sleepy to put it back up, so had to do it the next day. Now it looks kinda nervous, but at least it's not falling!

It sounds great, but I think it could use a little more cow bell.

I am back, and thank you!
I'll type about my trip and commiserate with your tree story in a day or so...getting caught up with all the stuff that came up while I was gone.
Thanks for asking about it though!

If a tree falls in the living room, and there's no one around to see it, do you automatically blame the cat?

"Well, we have baked apple pies. Would a couple of those help?"

If only we had a cat...
And just so I'm on topic, way to take the front line and stand up for our guild Reexa! Great job of replying in the forum about the shifting in public. I don't know much about it myself, and I have an opinion about it too, but everyone knows about opinions....everyone has one ::grins::

Punish the dog by replacing the camel with its favorite robot chew toy. Or get a plastic Nativity.

Reexa's counting something on 09/20/2005 08:40 AM CDT
Is it just a ghost of my remote desktop window or did I just see "1198 and counting" underneath your avatar?
I did...you're being awfully cryptic recently...I'm curious.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too, but I read that post in the DRTF forums, so I figured it was her "alter ego" avatar and caption. There are some GMs that have some interesting ones in the DRTF forums...it's cute.

You did, and it's not DR related so don't get too excited.

You're supposed to count down from 99 Reexa...not up...:cackle:
And I figured it was non-DR related. Wonder what happens when you get to your goal?
