During the Guildfest Guildleader Gylwyn was glimpsed gabbing with a gathering of grand artisans, though when questioned afterwards none of them would disclose what had been discussed. Speculation only grew over in the following days as the sounds of construction filled the air around the observatory in Crossbow Bend, though no workers or construct was to be found.

Earlier today the mystery came to an end as Gylwyn revealed the project, fully finished, to be a shrine dedicated to Phelim. When asked for her motives in funding this project in another's Guildhall she had this to say, "When one sees a future worth working towards, one does what they must to see it come to pass. I think, in time, Kssarh will see the true worth of this project and take refuge in the peace of this place."

Kssarh could not be reached for comment, though shortly after the reveal a shadowling was seen tumbling out of a third story window and there has been a notable upswing in the number of apprentices found sulking in the nearby taverns.

Due to illness I was unable to actually run this event during Guildfest as I'd planned, so I figured I'd do this instead of continue to hold up the release.

As a bit of history this shrine was something I found lurking in the unreleased parts of the Moon Mage guild shortly after I joined staff and was unable to find any history on it. I know it dates back to at least 2003, possibly longer, and I have no idea who built it or why. There was enough there to make me think there was once some plan for it to tie into... something, but your guess is as good as mine. At that time I made note to salvage it when I could and it ended up that Persida cleaned up and rewrote most of the area to modern standards, so most of your thanks for this project actually goes to her.
