A quick observation, it is much more beneficial to cast during the day. Majority of the pulses are planets over constellations at night time. Is astrology skill factored into what your observable constellations are? I seem to be getting a lot of panther/giant at night.
The target it totally random. There are generally less planets at night and far more things competing with them.
The intention is that the spell cycles faster at night to make night the ideal time to use it.
I'll muse on this.
