Howdy,

Does anyone have any ideas on what this spell will be good for?

My guesses:

- Scaring old women, little kids, Council Members, and Lasarhhtha
- Poking around dangerous areas (like RF likely soon will not do, with the added benefit of not drowning)
- Getting consent from trigger-happy Clerics
- Maybe something to do with predictions?

And since I thought of not drowning, can we use this spell to explore space? I'm sure a team of Clerics would provide the Vigils necessary for the betterment of the sciences.

If you could cast FM in that form, or somehow leave a moonbeam behind where you went, it might be useful, otherwise it just seems fairly useless.

At one point I thought that a great combo would be if the planned Talons of Darkness spell somehow let you make attacks while in wraith form.
Never posted about it though because what would be the point? If you kill the creature, you can't get it's treasure, and it would be way unfair in a fight with a player, they couldn't even harm you, while on the other hand you could hurt them if you were skilled enough in brawling.

Sure they could... they track down your body and step on your skull. <nods>. And whoever said fighting had to be fair?

It's good to hear Talons of Darkness mentioned. That's why I got Moonblade, back in the day.

Now then, as to casting spells. Remember this?

You are able to sense magic in the form, but it appears so alien and foreign that you can't comprehend what you see.
The Mirror Wraith form will last for less than fifteen minutes or until you expire from the strain."

From our favorite leak, Talian.

I imagine spell-casting as a Mirror Wraith would be like trying to light a fire with two sticks in a dark room which was loaded onto a burning train and hurled into space. Or something.

Maybe you can attack Plane o' Probability critters with brawling moves.
Maybe you can eat Shadowlings (Yes!).
Maybe you can possess baddies with a WvW check.
Maybe you can reweave predictions.
Maybe you can observe the stars and fill up your pools instantly.
Maybe you can teleport to any mirror in the Realms.
Maybe you can chat with Tezirah (Hey, how did she talk to that thing anyway?).

I guess the original Mirror Wraith "fed" on memories, right? I think people would burn the Guild to the ground if we ate their field experience, though.

Oh well,

I second the brawling shadow baddies, makes perfect sense (and them lucky clerics brawling their undead).
