having visited most of the various sect offices in preparation for my dwarf deciding which sect she will join, i noticed that when you LOOK at the various sect "joining-NPCs" <in the places where you can join the various sect halls>, most of them have a description of what they look like. The shaman, the monk, the prophet, the scarlet-robed mage <i haven't visited the gypsy yet for fortune's path, or HH>. Not so the officer for the celestials. He has a description of "what you would expect a stuffy junior officer to look like>. Well, I'd like to see more of a description than that. Come on, you guys are creative, flesh him out a bit!

I did go through and read the various profiles in magic to get a bit more history of the sects as well. Fascinating reading. Should make playing a g'nar peth interesting <although my dwarf isn't going that route - for her the monks will be much more suitable to her character>, i have another character that will definately go that direction>

If your going for the monks make sure you read up on the profile of Tiv.

I believe that is the default look if the description of a critter or NPC gets lost in the code or is missing. I recall a bunch of critters back in the day having similar results when looked at but were fixed when the GMs realized the place holder description was being shown. I'd suggest bugging it in game if you haven't already.
