I understand that the statue changes from Faenella to Daeman a more sinister image. Depending on what time of day it is. If I do not hunt for a while, I can stand in front of her until I’m blue in the face and the darn thing doesn’t do anything. However If I walk in, immediately after building up some DO. The thing will change from Faenella to Daeman and immediately as soon as i walk in. Now some folks will tell me that ...ahh that’s just a coincidence the timing is off a little. If that was true then ...I have never ever seen the thing change from dark to light. Someone check it out, will you?
If it were true that would be neat, statue in the middle of a town, determines DO or not. Maybe I am crazy.
Iv seen things, a set of yellow eyes starring at me, someone walking up behind me that is not there, and now statues that change shape. yes I am crazy.

Just in case you forgot about that thread.

The statue has nothing to do with necromancers or their abilities, and has been changing for years.
You seem just be catching the changing at different times, which might be skewering your perception of why it's changing. It has nothing to do with DO.
