A player entered a room, where my zombie was located.
My zombie instantly attacked it.
I tried setting zombie to defensive and it still went after horse. I had to send it away.
The poor persons horse died as a result and I feel really, really bad.
I don't recall my Zombie every attacking a horse automatically like that.
Is there a way to restore they persons horse? I think they just returned to the game....

I would encourage the person whose horse died to ASSIST in the game as soon as possible.
Please use the BUG command to file a report about your zombie attacking the horse so that the GMs who work on zombies can look into it. (This sends a notification to all GMs and leaves a record of it where it's easy for us to find.)

Fun fact: if your horse dies, it can normally be recovered by going to the stable and typing RETURN HORSE. There may be some delay, both for the stable to retrieve it and for it to be healed.
That being said, it's still considered mech abuse to deliberately kill someone's horse, so don't do it.
