The new Necromancer metaspell Alkahest Edge has started a one week Premium preview aross all instances.

Alkahest Edge is a 1-slot Synthetic Creation metaspell that changes the damage type of Vivisection from Slicing + Piercing to Slicing + Rand. Element. This in theory will decrease the usefulness of armor against Vivisection, though milage will vary based on specific makeup of your target.

The only requirement for Alkahest Edge is Vivisection, which by proxy means 40th circle as well. This is not a scroll spell.
