Hi friends.

So I'm thinking of nudging Philosophy Nights to another night of the week. I'm wondering what people would think of moving them to Monday and perhaps bumping them up to 9 or 9:30ish EST? The frequency wouldn't change, just the day and time. I have to make some other changes to the thing so this is as good a time as any. I'm aware this overlaps with Wyvern Trials a bit, but these are only every other week and I've frankly never really seen any other necros at the trials anyway so I don't think there will be too much of a conflict for most people.

If Monday absolutely sucks for a bunch of people I'll come up with something else, but Wednesdays actually absolutely suck for a number of people right now and I've been meaning to change it. So please post your availability. If you know people who attend but don't read the boards so much I'd appreciate it if people could give them a heads up and toss data at me.

TIA <3

As someone who routinely nods off, I approve of this time change. 9 EST would be great.

I think I'd prefer slightly earlier actually, like 7pm EST, but I recognize that because time zones are a thing, that might not work for some. I wasn't at the last meeting, but the one before that I remember finally wrapping up around midnight.

I'm on the west coast and while I could theoretically do 4 in the afternoon right now I don't expect that to remain the case.

8 is probably the absolute earliest I'd be willing to go, but I'd have to talk to some other people in my time zone to see how that would shake out.

As someone who keeps meaning to come to these meetings, and a west coaster - I am still at work usually until 5 or 5:30 during the week. I think you might have some of us not able to go at all if you do them earlier in the evening. Then again, I could probably just log in from work and attend.

9 is sounding like a good compromise from what I'm getting here and in IMs.

Keep in mind that people don't tend to start filtering until a little after start time anyway, so really the start time is closer to 9:30. It's not a huge change from 10, but a ~1 hour earlier start gives people with less flexible sleeping schedules time to get some arrpee in before they have to leave (or nod off at their computer).

So... Mondays at 9? It's probably too late to change next week but we can move things after that.
