I've been struggling to finish an HC Hauberk, and was curious what the current cap on them is, and around what weights people are making them. I suspect I may be trying to make it too light given my current skill level.
Also, how does a capped HC Hauberk, compare to a capped LC Hauberk, and if you were going for strictly defense, which is a better method, shirt + greaves, or hauberk?

Here's what I have for a 403 stone HC Hauberk:
g/g/m/m/m/p protections and h/h/h/g/g/g absorbs, with high hinder and moderately strong construction.
From what I remember of Relayer's Forged Armor page, mine matched his exactly except his was 402 stone.
As for a comparison of a capped LC hauberk, I'll have to defer to one of the other forgers as I'm not capping a full LC hauberk just yet. Let my LC training lag too long.
As for which is better, LC Shirt and Greaves or LC Hauberk or HC Hauberk, its mostly a personal preference. Shirt and greaves lets you switch armor pieces easier and gives great protection for the weight. Not as much as the heavier HC but if weight is important, LC is better, plus easier to be stealthy in.

Capped LC hauberk appraises the same as that HC hauberk you pasted at like 240 stones. Not sure what the comparison looks like though.
