Aura Armor:
Esoteric
Warding/Augmentation
Requires Divine Armor, Veteran's Insight, Lay Ward, Soldier's Prayer

Enchants a suit of armor to reduce damage taken from a particular mana source: Holy, Life, Elemental, Lunar, or Arcane. This spell may be cast only once at a time and thus only protect against one spell type. It would be nice if there were Cast Group and Cast Area options, too, with the added caveat in the form of a hit like Aspirant's Aegis inflicts.

Requires Divine Armor, Veteran's Insight, Lay Ward, Soldier's Prayer, Aura Armor

Enchants a paladin's shield to better block spells from a particular mana source and allow a chance to block DFA attacks from that particular source. I expect this would be a self-only sort of spell.


Holy Guardian:
Holy Warrior Metamagic Spell
When a paladin under the effects of Holy Warrior PROTECTS someone, he or she has a good chance to stand in the way of any spell effect that attacks his or her protectorate, absorbing some/all of the damage/debilitation instead and potentially stunning the foe that cast the spell.


Oh and my two, by far, biggest complaints among all of paladin magic is that Soldier's Prayer does not last very long and stops the Paladin's own spells from getting out. These two restrictions are enough to make a paladin that specializes in the Warding skill to not want this spell. I figure that may be relevant to point out here. :)
