I currently have a a massive round shield embossed with a gilded mongoose.. Pretty much the same shield that had the skull boss on it. Anyway, Im near expert ranks in shield, and Im wondering if theres a better shield out there, and if so what is it?

The round shield is made with metal.
The round shield is somewhat pliable.
It appears that the round shield can be slung over one shoulder.
The round shield has a bit of weight to it.

I know I gotta get it repaired, had to depart without a glyph...but whats the next logical step in shields? Any input is appreciated.

All but one apps like a Theren tower shield, that one is a round and apps a step below.
