Anybody check out the shields available at the fest? Armworns or handhelds? Anything that protects better than tower armworn from crossing trader guild?

I kinda want to know about the ones at the togball store, since they have the spikes they are probably high on puncture as well. Armworn like that would be cool.

I have appraised the majority (if not all) of the tower shields at the fest and did not find a single arm-worn. I second the motion for a arm worn tower that can be dyed, I currently carry the Theren arm-worn tower.

>>but the one anyone could get in leather shields are arm-worn, metal ones aren't
Which tent is this? Natural Magic I know is empath-only, and I'm assuming the Empath Emporium is as well (although I haven't tried to get in). I also saw in the Barb-only wagon (Vishlan's wares) they have spiked arm-worn bucklers.

>>Are the Barb bucklers and better than the ironwood oval from the trader shop?
Not sure what the ironwood oval appraises like, but I'm guessing it's a medium and the buckler is a small so it's sort of like apples and oranges. Here's what the buckler appraises like, from Tyrathia's fest listing:
On the display wall you see a spiked jade-green buckler decorated with silver wolverines, a spiked crimson buckler decorated with steel boars and a spiked black buckler decorated with iron centaurs.
a spiked jade-green buckler decorated with silver wolverines is 10824 Dokoras
You are certain that it imposes a low maneuvering hinderance.
You are certain that the buckler offers rather low to good protection.
You are certain that the ironwood buckler is fairly sturdy, and is in pristine condition.
It appears that the ironwood buckler can be worn on the left arm.
You are certain that the ironwood buckler weighs exactly 100 stones.
You are certain that the ironwood buckler is worth exactly 10824 dokoras, 15000 kronars, or 12000 lirums.
