With the addition of Racial titles, I am wondering if this would be the appropriate place to start a discussion on some titles for the finest and proudest of the races? I've navigated through several other folders and can't seem to dig up any other folders on the topic.

Perhaps we should have some according to age?

Such as Greybeard or Graybeard for older dwarves
Darkbeard for middle aged dwarves
Lightbeard for young dwarves
Scrabblebeaerd for baby dwarves?

Anyone else have any suggestions?

I'm definitely in favor of titles regarding beards. I'd like to see titles for sizes of beards. Having said that, I'd like to see an expansion on beards as well. Back on topic though, in addition to titles with beards, how about with....alcohol! After all, a real Dwarf knows how to hold his/her liquor! Also, perhaps something regarding the different Dwarven clans. Cheers.

I've come with a few which I thought would fit the race well:
Stout
Sturdy
Stubborn
Stoic
Stocky
...and working on more, maybe some that don't start with "st"

I definitely like the idea of beard titles as well, but seeing as the Dwarven lifespan is so great, I believe there might be the opportunity for open discussion of what is considered young, middle, and old.

I was thinking about this to, but considering the constraints on actually getting to those old ages is impossible with out a massive age shift or something, I think we need to suspend disbelief here. There are very few folk that will make it above 100(yeah me!), so maybe Greybeard would be for folk above that mark, and then we work backwards?

In Plat we get a choice of starting age. Middle age has given me 50s to 80s. I'll run a few through the CM to see what ranges I can get for the various categories.

I wonder if it would be possible to correlate skills to titles or if that would be too granular. What sort of prerequisites would exist for title selection. For example: Apprentice Blacksmith with 100 Mech Lore and 300 Weapons or Armor total. Blacksmith and Master would have adjusted reqs. I'm not sure if there exist a Blacksmith title already, but I think Dwarves have a natural inclination to forging, moreso than the other races. Also, I think there exists the window of opportunity with stat-relate titles like Rock Crusher with a strength of 40, moreso as I mentioned Stoic as one title, that could be correlated to Discipline and Sturdy to Stamina, our core stats. Just a few ideas.

You ask, "the stonebows, if I was to ever get one altered, think it would fly as an Over the shoulder boulder holder?"
Shakahn laughs!
Shakahn says, "Doubt that part."

well, I figured bear just said what his master REALLY thought. Bearded Ant works for me anyway.

I think something based off of stamina and discipline would be appropriate, since those are the skills we get bonuses in.

I was thinking in response to Gimlias' suggestion:

30 stamina, 30 discipline: Resistant, Rock, Solid
35 stamina, 35 discipline: Determined, Stone, Granite
40/40: Resilient, Boulder, Iron
50/50: Fortress, Mountain, Steel

Also, would anyone else express interest in Haakish titles?

There are no Haakish equivalents for Resistant, Solid, Determined, Granite, Resilient, or Steel.

Rock is Keraag, Mountain is Shal, Stone is Staan or Khal, Boulder is Garnum, Iron is Arn, Fortress is Brach.

Think of the possibilities! We can get the best parts of Scotland (WHISKEY!), Germany (BIER!), and Norway (VIKINGS! MEAD!).

Dwarves are the coolest.
