I'm looking for some information on the history and culture of gnomes. The only books I've been able to find so far are "The Gnomes", and "Religion in Gorbesh Society". Could anyone point me towards any other books they know of?

I don't know about books, but an old gnome from plat (The Tinker) had something about the various clans on a fansite.

You might see them mentioned in the ALbarian time-lines too. But like you, I have seen little gnomish lore.

I've found some books in the Ain library I think. It's been a while.

If they get much more history out there about Gnomes any time soon, I will be surprised. Look how long it took to get the Elven Clans information out there and they are local clans. Perhaps with the release of the Gnome Village a few books will be found within it.

I've been wondering where the Gnome Village is. Any word on it?

Still plugging away at it. Was hoping to have it in QC by the end of this year, and may still make that goal, but it's gonna be tight. Wasn't exactly counting on being promoted to being in charge of game systems, which put a bit of a crimper on my long-term plans. We'll get there, though. The worst of it is over.

In other news, expect to see some new stuff in the near future, including a thing or two from the Village.

I'm very curious and my gnomes can't wait. I've been very happy with recent changes that have made them easier to train and play over all.

While it doesn't exactly have gnome history, I've something in QC as well which does have some Gnomish lore for your enjoyment, as well as my personal amusement.

shnookers? It would definitely be awesomely cool if these made it into DR. According to the gnome fellas in Blingdenstone, it's like a metal beaver tail with a hinge. Skillfully employed, one hit can incapacitate a target for quite a long, long time (they got Driz'zt once, and he was bedridden for like 2 days!)

Gnomish ingenuity should be a fearsome endeavor to behold, such that it scares little children.

Given the totally incredible and awesome things little children can come up with when allowed to innovate and dream, I think Gnomish ingenuity would both inspire and delight small children and totally terrify their parents.
