Well, I thought if I held out long enough, eventually I'd be able to pay for a Zoluren citizenship but still be able to get an "of Arthe Dale" post-title. Kind of like how for the Games one could still buy Arthe Dale pennants so we could cheer on our favorite village, even though technically you would be competing for the Zoluren team.
The thought of not being able to open and close the gate to Arthe Dale is too frustrating though, so I will break down and pay my dues. Not happy about it though.

I'm not giving in. Taff has her beliefs and will stick to them, gates or no. This just gives her (more) reason to not like the prince.
Lanival gave ALL the realms to the olvi. Buying citizenship in any one province belies and denies that. The Dale is still special, being a favorite of Glythtide, and being full of olvi... and free tarts.... and free booze.... But, I'm still not denying the gift that Lanival gave me. I am a citizen of Elanthia, and should have rights in every province.

I agree with you Taffei...
But I feel like I need to bow down to OOC mechanics in order for Mykk to be open and close the gates to Arthe Dale, then for the benefit of what I can offer and do for Arthe Dale, I'll do it.
The flip side is I could ask the GMs to allow Mykk to have that ability "just because"... but coding issues aside, that smacks of favoritism, and that doesn't sit right with me either.
Basically, I just needed to vent, and this is my favorite folder to do so :-)

Wanted to let you know that current events keep me around Leth a bit but want you to know that my offer to call on me anytime still stands, okay?
As for gates, I am a citizen of Aesry but have a home in Arthe Dale (long story). I'm hoping that having my home there would be enough to let me in/out of any Arthe gates.
