pre-web days I think we rolled out anywhere from 17-25 usually.
Years later, I've seen people pop out 15-late 30's using the random age picker.
no clue what the max age the charmanager lets you choose for premium people.
The oldest current PC human would probably be 78(aged looking)- but that's if someone dug up a character from day 1 that hasn't been activated in over a decade probably...
I turned 76 (w/o age shifting) during the fest - I know offhand of 2 other humans that are a few weeks to a months older than Power, but they haven't played in a few years.

my oldest human character prime-side is 68. That was before the premium option was available to choose your age, though. They used to give most of the races the same age span in the character manager. My oldest s'kra prime-side is 74 years old. And both of these characters were created when you used to have to look in a mirror to create your character.

Thomarus Extentum, just came back from being gone since about 1999 I believe (When EverQuest came out, I think). He is 84 years old which makes him "Aged." I've actually been reading up on the aging mechanics since it looks he would reach his age max soon (I think I'm fine). I somewhat like the idea that I get to roleplay an old guy. However, I feel like I shouldn't be hunting anymore as a senior citizen.
I've been reading about age shifting and I like that route (though there's roleplaying concerns?)
Then again, my character has had limbs completely destroyed his inner organs destroyed, his head crushed and is really on his eighth body. So maybe my body is remade into that of an 18 year old but my appearence is held constant so people don't freak out.

Have you read the info from the AGE verb in game yet?
>>So maybe my body is remade into that of an 18 year old but my appearence is held constant so people don't freak out.
Close. Here's what AGE says:
FIT SENESCENCE: While overexposure to healing often results in entirely slowed aging, that is not the only possibility. Some characters in this situation continue to visibly age like a normal member of their race, but the supernatural aid keeps them at peak fitness regardless of appearances. Like their more fortunate brethren, characters who enjoy fit senescence gain an extra century to their lifespan.
Essentially, as an adventurer you are either 1) looking young and feeling young, or 2) looking old and feeling young. A few adventurers may not partake of empathic healing or may be resistant to this part of it, and so only that minority may look old and feel old.
