Looking forward to hearing more about time and location for the potential upcoming Moot. Has been several RL years since I was actually able to attend and am looking forward to it.
Hopefully it will coincide with an available time for me. I will do my very best to be there.

Great suggestions and I for one would love to hear more, the Rakash development has always lagged behind that of the Prydaen and as was pointed out this "Event" IS the perfect time to correct that.

If you've a suggested time or activity for the gathering I'm sure the rest wouldn't mind if you expressed on the group ;) I and I'm sure the others hope to see you there!

With the fall of the Barrier now is the time for our people to come together and not only remember the past but have some fun and celebrate in traditional Rakash style!

There is going to be a moot at the Ancient Tower West of the Crossing and we hope to see all of you there.

There will be games, storytelling, contests, food and drink and friends both old and new. All Rakash are invited and are welcome to bring their non-Rakash partners, but otherwise this is a Rakash only event where our tongue will be spoken.

If you do not know the way there will be guides available from the Crossing and please do spread the word. The hope is to get as many of our people together as we can.

There will be a storytelling contest if we get enough entrants, so feel free to come armed with one, there will be prizes. Any story will do, though a Rakash theme will surely go down well.

((This will take place on June 12th at 7pm EST. If you have any questions feel free to drop Chinoa or I a message on AIM. DRNaea and VieraDR, especially if you want to bring a story!))

===
But there's a tree, of many, one,
A single field which I have look'd upon,
Both of them speak of something that is gone:
The pansy at my feet
Doth the same tale repeat:
Wither is fled the visionary gleam?
Where is it now, the glory and the dream?

Hi guys,
Chinoa? Naea? Are you two lovelies still about?
I wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on hosting the next Moot, it's been a bit since the last. =)
Suggestions that were given were...

-group hunt
-I think someone mentioned a brawling contest?
-more story and song shares
-trivia
-cruise for tattoos?

Of course prizes will be given out and I tried to stash as much Frat as I could.
I mainly wanted to see what you guys overall wanted to have come from these meet ups and when and where.
I want to know ahead of time so that we could maybe have it on the events calendar.
We could make this some what like how the mentors have tea and triage for the Empaths but for Rakash, instead.

Elanthia Javelin Throw Standings Board
All-time Elanthia Record Holder

2367 Leilond

Current Games Standings:

Place Score Contestant
1) 2367 Leilond
2) 1738 Ogdaro
3) 1080 Heucuva
4) 750 Istadet
5) 633 Dartainiyh
6) 610 Tacita
7) 591 Mujaki
8) 543 Magrid
9) 506 Stilva
10) 468 Lancel
For a long while in the beginning Heucuva was winning. While I stepped away Leilond took over the spot in the javelin toss Ogdaro took over second and Heucuva took third.

Howl Contest
rihuan- (Rihaun in a bumbling attempt to howl, lets out an obnoxious screech startlin' Nyetale enough to cause her to fall over backwards into him, as he tumbles to the ground the throwing dagger in his hand comes loose poking him right in the bum, at this instant Rihaun lets out blood curdling howl so deafening that it would make a full blown rakash sound like a whimpering puppy.)

Mordicum-(Mordicum's howl deeply resonates off the walls of the cavern as he rips a long deep warrior's call inviting all that hear to join in the hunt, the longer he holds the note the louder it grows as it comes to a cresendo he suddenly alters the note getting more out of his howl as he holds it for all to hear)

Nyetale-(Nyetale howls in deep confusion at the realization that she was once an only child but is now lost in a see of adopted siblings, as the howl turns to a wail of despair and fades out to a low growl.)

Annandale-
(Annandale steps forward and throws her head back as she cups her palms over her mouth. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. She then lets out a sound that resembled a hoot rather than a howl. Her eyes open up in shock as her face turns beet red and steps back into the crowd.)

Saslisena-(Saslisena steps up beside the cake stand. After smiling to the crowd, she tilts her head back and lets out a soft howl of hauntingly layered harmonics.)

Vteec-(Vteec bellows forth a might howl in celebration of the moon Katamba, the very moon itself squarely faces Vteec and promptly offers him some highly minted tea.)

Our winners, were chosen by our judges Malykai and Syianha (sp?)
"rihaun won for non rakash because he paid for his with pain..for pokin himself in the butt with a knife"
" mordicum won for rakash cause his was a really good howl"-Malykai

For the Catching game we had goblins with zombie, undead, and Lyras masks.
Our first place winner, Lancel forfeited his prize and it was passed down to Heucuva.
[12:24] Vraeska whispers, "Okay, the winner is Lancel, with 8 goblins caught!"
[12:24] Vraeska whispers, "Second place was Heucuva with 7 caught."
[12:25] Vraeska whispers, "Syianiha and Tacita and allye were tied for 3rd at 6 each"

::The prizes were::

TAP:A porcelain mask of the undead

LOOK:Different colored cloth patches have been improperly stitched together with thick black thread to form a sloppy and goofy looking visage of some undead golem. The fabrics have been adhered on top of white birch. In spots the wood peeks out through the poor sewing lending to the illusion of bone through skin.

Abasha: Very nice!

*(prize for Javelin game)(((((REDO))))))

Belongs to:Lanita

TAP:A bullseye button painted“#1 Tosser"

Read:Moot400: Best Javelin thrower of all the lands.-L.S.

*(prizes for catching game)Belongs to:Lanita

TAP: Some comically over-sized catcher’s Gloves

LOOK:Painted on the back of the gloves are the caricatured images of the undead .

Bright lettering boldly reads, “I Caught ‘em all!” A small label is sewn inside.

READ

TAP: TAP: a dark blue damask odaj cinched at the waist by a braided leather belt

LOOK: Woven from very similar silken threads, the subtle pattern of thorny brambles and small prey animals which adorn it is easily lost amid the iridescent sheen of this garment's loosely draped folds. In sharp contrast to the luxurious fabric, its belt has been simply plaited from several narrow strips of top-grain leather and secured at the hip by an unadorned silver buckle in the shape of a crescent moon

::The gifts given out for everyone were::

You tap a leather haversack clasped with a revolving bronze disc that you are wearing.
> l haver
A slight patina heightens the contrast in the forms stamped in low relief onto the heavy bronze clasp. From opposite edges of the disc, a stoic, Human-like face stares into the eyes of a proud lupine visage. On closer inspection, the leather itself seems to be quite new but rather hastily distressed for appearances, though the quality of craftsmanship is otherwise beyond reproach.
> l in haver
In the leather haversack you see a stuffed vela'tohr plant and a braided wire ring.
> tap plant in haver
You tap a stuffed vela'tohr plant inside your leather haversack.
> l plant in haver
Varying shades of green felt have been stitched together to form this clever replication of the renown vegetation. Hidden in the center of the plush doll is an amber heart.
There appears to be something written on it.
> read plant in haver
A stuffed vela'tohr plant reads:
"This chosen and saved shrub of stalky personality was brought over from Odcoru and now rests in the Crossing High Temple. Denizelva, High Rakash Priestess of Asketi, donated me. I am one of many."
> l ring in haver
The dark stone's glossy surface is unmarred by any piercing or carving, and thin, ruddy red streaks run throughout it. Tiny flames are woven into the side of the band, with the words "Honor the Redivawzis" weaving through the tongues of fire. Likely chosen for its resemblance to the shape and color of the legendary stone, the fragment is encased within the whisper-thin strands of silver.
> tap ring in haver
You tap a braided wire ring with a small stone fragment ensnared within the strands inside your leather haversack.

Along with, they had put out a sandwich making station (as seen in Throne city) and the flame dance along with the the fire/toasting pit.(as is the usual for Magma falls)

I hope all of you had fun. Thank you very much for all that did make it and I look forward to seeing how the next will be.
