Simply enjoy and immerse yourself in the Rakash culture, sample the delicacies of a Rakash themed menu and share a day fun, trivia, prizes/gifts, songs, stories and a perfect excuse to socialize.

Time: 8pm eastern
Type of event: Social
Don't be shy! Come eat & play!

Pah! I did not! I did it so uhm.. you could ask!
Yes.
So, uhm.. now that you have... it will begin at the tower outside the west gate! Bring your buddies!
((This is just beyond the brook after Gobs and Hogs))
[Woodland Path, Dense Forest]
A well-worn dirt path that travels eastward through the forest ends abruptly at this point. Towering trees spread out in all directions, standing silent and watchful like arboreal sentinels. Brambles and knotsweed cover the heavily shaded forest floor. You catch a glimpse of *an ancient, crumbling tower* through a break in the trees.
Obvious paths: north, east, south, southwest, west, northwest.
Then go tower!
Yes.

competitions, like brawling, archery, wrestling (otherwise known as empath brawling), thrown weapon, scavenger hunt, lore, bardic, a mocking contest, good food, good company, dancing, player run trader tables with Rakash things and player crafted items.

What. That's not what I would hope to see at all. :(
Rakash items and trader tables yes, but I was sorta hoping more of a focus on storytelling and lore rather than your run-of-the-mill spars and stuff that you see at every other gathering.
Instead of a mocking contest, why not a howling contest? I'd much rather spend an evening seeing player-penned lorebuilding on a race that doesn't get much love than shooting arrows and wrestling.
But then I won't be there, so w/e.

My Rakash are proud to be Rakash. They are equally proud of all three of the types that make up the Rakash society, as represnted by the Rakash gods:
Mrod, the leader of the Great Pack, keeper of the skies and all above. Implicit in this is the governance of the times and seasons of all things and the transformations they endure as these seasons change.
Eneline, godess of all natural things beneath the skies, including the lores and traditions of her people and their spirituality. She is especially fond of those that keep and teach the lores and tend to people's spiritual growth.
Coshvi, the warrior, trader, and thief, overseer of all that does not grow when cultivated, per the in game lore. However, my characters are well aware that war and strife are in his realm depite the fact that such things can and do grow when cultivated.
A moot is not complete without honoring all three. Just focusing on the teaching of lore and tradition will in essence totally violate what one wishes to teach.

Really hope to see alot of you there if you can make it.
Before it even gets started I want to send a huge thank you to the members of the Tavern Troupe for helping us plan and orgnize this. It's been really awesome having the resources of an official order to develop this years Moot and I for one really appreciate the work they've put into it. Also, a big thank-you to the members of the Augstawne Girene Dzirta for being very supportive of both the pack and the people as a whole.
As with previous Moots, this gathering is not about any one person or group of people. It is a celebration of what it means to be a Rakash as well as an oppertunity for many of us to share a bit about ourselves with others. Regardless if you are Rakash or not, these events are always a good chance to learn a bit more about some of the other people whom make up these lands.
Anji... we love you. Thanks for bringing the merchies out again, some of their wares will be given as presents and prizes during the Moot. As always we would love it if you had a moment to join us, even if you just watch from the skies in your hidden GM box-seat. We tried to schedule this at a good time that will work for most people, hopefully we got a good time and date.

The massive and huge log from the moot has been placed on the wiki for anyone to view at anytime. I want to apologize to anyone if either your RP or comments were cut out of the log. It was gigantic and took quite awhile to trim to manageable size.

Once again, thanks to everyone who came out for this, we hope to see ya'll at the next.
