I am most happy that you are enjoying exploring Siksraja. Thank you for the appreciative comments. Many years went into creating this for the Rakash Race. I did have some help at the end (critters etc.) to get it out the door. Explore, have fun -- now you have a place to call your own!

The more I explore, the more I appreciate and discover lots of fun little details like the writing on the wall in the tunnels. Plus my knowledge of Rakash is improving dramatically. Thanks again Anji, it's really appreciated.
On another note a few of us are planning a little open house party / mini moot next moonskin in the village. I’ll stick up more details here when we set a date and time.

First, after 5 years I'm back... hi.
Second, exploring the village now and really liking it.
Couple of things about the trek to get to the village. I take it from the distance and general feel of the area that the village is at least on the outskirts of the old homeland. Would this be a fair guess? I'm also interested in the burnt out areas along the path. My first thought was that the area might have been where the barrier use to be. Seems there's a story to tell about those places one way or another.
The only thing I would wish for is an in game translator so I knew what I was looking at in the shops and room names. But, I know it's either name something "Rakash ITEM" which can just sound plain or fancy name you have to look up.

I'd like it more if someone more knowledgeable would link the pages properly into Elanthipedia.
Currently there are no details/looks on
-NPCs
-Favors
Proper links and details of shops in their proper areas like a link to "Siksraja" when you click 'Shop by town' or "Rakash" for shop by type.
They have the usual merchant shops such as Pawla's listed but only as a 'Chriss' Mass' shop atm. (one of the links is actually blank)
and... NO map yet up on Ranik's as well. It would be easier to view these things in tabs from there over forum scrolling.
I'd do it but I seriously don't know much bout how to set up there.

Mini-moot in Siksraja on 05/21/2010 04:52 AM CDT
The Augstawne Girene Dzirta cordially invites anyone in the area to a Rakash style mini-moot in the village of Siksraja in four weeks time ((OOC, Saturday 29th May)). The perfect chance to meet fellow residents, members of the Augstawne Pack, or any one simply in the mood for a fun evening. Everyone welcome! There will be stories, games and drinks, and a short discussion of Siksrajan Triage. It begins at ((7pm EST)). Hope to see you there!

I'm back to the game after a 5 year hiatus with my Rakash Bard and was excited to hear about the new Rakash village. One question I had, just for RP background, was if the only "history" so far was "Lyras defeated, Cefrit and others establish village" or if there was anything out there with a bit more detail? Particularly if the village would be considered part of Therengia and has the blessings of the Baron, if it's so far to the west that it doesn't need his blessings, or if it really should have his blessings but no one has gotten around to asking him and we're just a bunch of squatters. I think the visions from the favors indicate some type of history in terms of discovering the area/the lake, but I wasn't entirely sure.

Towards the history of the village itself, the only explination that I heard so far is that it was found during an exploration. Little was known about the place due to the fact that no one was inhabiting it. Stories are that it was one of the villages established by a group that was making their way across the lands from the migration.
As for what province it is tied to, currently it is it's own area. The Baron says its outside of Therengian territory, as well as not even established as far as banking. Maybe with the building of a bank and town hall the Baron could be asked to include the Village as part of Therengian soil.
