Next moonskin predictions based off the last two:

BEGIN Dec 29 2011 ~0417(4:17AM) EST Prediction
END Dec 30 2011 ~0747(7:17AM) EST Prediction

BEGIN Jan 07 2012 ~1149(11:19AM) EST Prediction
END Jan 08 2012 ~1519(3:19PM) EST Prediction

The current moonskin should end Dec, 21 at 2415(12:15AM) EST.

My data can be viewed here: www.elanthipedia.com/wiki/Moonskin#Timings

Please note that these are only predictions of the formula and may not be 100% or even 90% accurate. It's a work in progress and I do appreciate any help from other players, especially if you notice some math errors or something that could make this much more accurate.

Enjoy!

Last moonskin ended at 21 Dec at 0130am EST (may have been 0129, but was 0130 as I was coming out of the stun)

Yeah, my math was off, also it lasted 14 minutes longer than I anticipated so it looks like this fluctuates also. I updated the chart as well as the next prediction on elanthipedia. :)

My character reverted back from moonskin on 2/5/12 at I believe 6:35PM ET

Of course I didn't record this right away, and kept trying to get over here but was involved in some character drama and forgot to get it down right away. Hope someone can verify.

Appreciate it, but I actually stopped monitoring the changes. If I could have left my Rakash logged in for maybe three months straight without logging out, I might of had some kind of actual formula for you guys.

Maybe if I get some kind of go-ahead on that from a GM, I'll revisit this.

Why would you need the go-ahead from a GM?

Speaking as someone who has stayed logged in for weeks on end (back in the day of the old tankable thief bonus), I can say that it's perfectly fine. Gaining experience/money the whole time would definitely set off flags, but if you go somewhere quiet to idle away the night there is no problem.

The problem is experience gain - or more generally "in-game advantage" gain, eg. money, mining metals, experience, etc.

See, that's what I wonder at. Is it considered an advantage to stay logged in with no active EXPERIENCE but yet be gaining something like data on moonskin activity times?

I'm still going to shelf the idea for now and I'll revisit it later on.

>>Leyhanm: Is it considered an advantage to stay logged in with no active EXPERIENCE but yet be gaining something like data on moonskin activity times?

I doubt it. If AFK traveling (with no experience or monetary gain) is allowed, I don't see why it would be against the rules to log moonskin data while AFK.

>>DR-Oolan: Running a script that does not in any way generate experience or any other in game advantage will not on its own cause you to get busted. However, if you forget to enter sleep mode and passively gain experience then you could get busted. Also note that you will need to be extra careful that you don't get caught up in anything else negative such as a surprise invasion. If you cannot get yourself into a house or other similiar setting, we suggest you simply log out rather than remain in game. I hope that helps clarify for you.

I just set up triggers with a log to try and track my rakash changes. I already log out, pause 10 min, log back in when it happens, so it should be pretty easy to track. I'm logged in pretty much 24/7 so I'll post when the changes happen.

Damn, this totally makes me want to roll more Rakash characters - in fact, I bet this is why they're so popular.

Can you RELEASE LIFE while stunned? Next time I'm gonna just do that if possible, save me a whole lot of healing.

Oh, and Moonskin fell at 3:34 AM CST on 3/14/12. Cheerie ho
