Uh, really? This is a Ranger shop? Beside from the two companion pins and the curtain that appears to be an alterer's room based on the messaging when trying to enter, what is Rangerly about it?
Wandering Woodsman is the new Ranger shop. It was supposed to have a couple more super cool items to go with the trailmaps but they didn't get the bugs worked out in time.
Wandering Woodsman will eventually be a part of the Ranger Retreat but it will be expanded a lot more by that time.
Knickknacks belonged to an old Ranger GM, I just found it and brought it back since the companion pins are kinda neato.
You could be like a couple of the other guilds with no shops :-)

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Thank you so much for Najha's Knickknacks and the Wandering Woodsman. Both terrific shops and I did something I thought I would never do...bought a skirt! Now I'm a long divided skirt wearer! I got so pretty after I bought a clover pin and eyebrow ring a passing empath gave me a body shift!
Really love the stuff especially the pins. I had a wolf pin given to me by a ranger who had a few after that long ago fest. Always felt sad younger rangers didn't have one since they are awesome. So glad they can get some. I talked a younger ranger into getting some and showed him how to use them. This might encourage more rangers to get companions.
I do have 1 question--the split skirt I got has buttons to button it into pants if I want, but I can't figure out how to do it. Then I thought, perhaps it was just for show, but the description of the item said I could make pants. So can we? If so, I can go back to trying to find the correct syntax.

On the subject of wolf and raccoon pins, they are awesome and one of the best perks of being a ranger I think.
First of all, they are bonded to you if you wear it and rub it. So if it is a gift don't do that.
Second, call your companion and then rub the pin. You can select the look of the pin to match what you think your companion looks like (snarling black wolf, grinning white wolf, leaping russet wolf and so forth--I don't have a raccoon for a companion so i don't know what the raccoon pin shows for looks but it's on the same the lines as the wolf).
Third, after you play with your pin and companion for a while, send your companion to sleep and then rub the pin. It will go to sleep. Then, if you don't have your companion with you, and poke the pin, it will move but refuse to wake up.
I love my pin. Hope you like them too, and those that have money issues, find me in game. I love those pins so much I will pay for yours as long as you are definately in need. Please don't abuse me asking for it when you have enough money to spare. But I remember so much being poor and not being able to get the neat things at fest..and this is one of them.
