Before 3.0, the closest spell we had to the current Blend spell was Nature's Canopy.

One thing I liked about that spell was, when it wore off there was no messaging visible by others that you appeared. You were just suddenly there.
I miss that.. I can understand it could be a little "unrealistic", a spell that allows anyone to arrive in a room and become visible without anyone noticing.
Would it be possible to have a stealth vs perception check to determine if you are able to come out of invisibility without being noticed?
Releasing the spell vs having it fade could possibly affect the outcome too. If the spell just fades unexpectedly it would be in favor of the others noticing the person becoming visible, or if you manually release the spell it would give you an increased chance of not being spotted.


Another thing.. I always assumed that if I was hidden when the invisibility wore off, people wouldn't notice my appearance.
I just found out I was wrong.. I was hidden when the spell faded and someone said Hi to me.
